What do you love most about your business neighborhood?
We love being located in charming Travis Heights! The neighbors, the proximity to downtown, and the artistic nature of the neighborhood make it the perfect fit!
How do you relax and unwind after a long day at work?
I love to unwind with a glass of wine and a good tv show. Nothing beats a hard days work and then being able to relax in the evening with the people we love.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever received is that successful people say yes and begin before they feel ready. You are smart and you will figure it out. Go for it!
How do you incorporate customer feedback into your business?
We take customer feedback seriously – both good and bad. We are going to listen and respond accordingly. We want to be the best we can be.
What’s the best part about working in your industry?
I’ve always loved art since I was a small child so to be able to be surrounded by it on the daily is an absolute dream! We get to meet a lot of cool people in the industry and are always inspired by our interactions with customers.
If your business were a movie, what genre would it be?
It would definitely be a comedy! From the very beginning, we’ve been laughing – sometimes at ourselves and sometimes just at the circumstances and stories that come up as we navigate the business. Never a dull moment!
How do you ensure your team stays motivated and happy?
Happy employees make for a good business! We strive to be a place that people want to work and we ensure this by listening to our employees. We have a happy atmosphere and are truly friends with our employees. We want the best for everyone!
How has the community shaped your business’s growth and evolution?
South Austin supports it’s local shops and for that we are forever thankful! Community is key in all we do and we couldn’t be more thankful for it!
What’s your favorite productivity hack?
Take 10 minutes and do as much as you can! It doesn’t have to be a ton of time but you have to be dedicated to using it wisely. Perfectionism is the killer of productivity. Move forward!
What’s your favorite part of running your business?
My favorite part is definitely interacting with the community. We are here because of community!
